There’s always something going on in Glastonbury, even in the depths of Winter. The Celtic Wheel of the Year Festivals are popular times to visit, with themed events and ceremonies in many venues around the town.
In Autumn each year I start compiling next year’s event dates for my Crap Views of the Tor calendar, this being Glastonbury it’s a bit like herding cats! Things are subject to change, so do check with the organisers before making travel or accommodation arrangements. I can’t be held responsible for any cancelled events, errors or omissions! This is by no means an exhaustive list, it only includes the major events that were able to confirm their dates for 2024 at the time of compilation. Before many of the major events of the year I put up posts on this blog, with everything you need to know to plan your visit, subscribe to my mailing list to make sure you get them! Many of Glastonbury Town’s events are free to attend and they get more popular each year. If you staying you may need to book accommodation well in advance.
Please contribute to the local economy while you are here, the vast majority of the shops and businesses in the town are local and independent, so your cash goes to support the livelihood of people who make the town a uniquely vibrant and welcoming place. Also, remember that people live here, our car parks aren’t expensive, please park in them rather than in residential areas.
