Crap Views of Glastonbury Tor Postcard Book #2

The second collection of ‘Crap Views of Glastonbury Tor’ from Normal For Glastonbury, 20 postcards bound into a book.

Glastonbury Tor is a geographical wonder of singular beauty. The ever-changing sky supplies a splendid backdrop to this magical mountain throughout the seasons. Emerging from the otherwise flat marshlands of the Somerset Levels, it draws the eye from many miles away, creating a view that has entranced Glastonbury’s many weary pilgrims for millennia. At closer range, it looms over the town dramatically. Artists and photographers have captured the Tor’s ethereal beauty in a myriad of ways throughout the centuries.

In 2021 I produced a postcard book of more everyday views of the Tor, photographs I had taken from supermarket car parks or the nearby industrial estate. It was quite popular, so here’s a second edition with 20 new Crap Views of the Tor for you to share with your friends and family, or keep as a memento of this magical, but in some ways quite ordinary, small market town in Somerset.

20 postcards, each featuring a different Crap View of Glastonbury Tor taken by Vicki Steward of Normal For Glastonbury. The postcards are glued into the book, you can individually detach them, write your own message and send them off.

Postage is a flat rate of £3 per parcel, so why not buy one for a friend too, or a copy of the Normal For Glastonbury Paperback? They make the ideal gift for anyone who loves Glastonbury.
