Looking for the perfect Yuletide gift for someone who loves Glastonbury Town? All of these gift ideas feature my writing and photographs and I pack and mail out the orders with my own fair hands, so you are supporting a very small local business and your purchase helps me to continue keeping you informed and entertained here on the blog and on social media.
The Calendar – even better for 2023!
My Crap Views Wall Calendar was really popular last Christmas and I’ve made it even better for 2023. There’s a whole new set of 12 Crap Views of the Tor and I’ve put in the dates for the major Glastonbury Town events in 2023, to help you plan your year. I expect these to sell out before the New Year and won’t be printing more, so grab them while they are available.
Normal For Glastonbury the Paperback – In a Beautiful New Illustrated Edition
My Normal for Glastonbury paperback has become an enduring favourite, the mostly humorous accounts of what life is really like in this magical and odd little town are enjoyed by locals, incomers and visitors alike. The latest edition has been enhanced with beautiful pen and ink illustrations by local artist Debbie De Mornay Penny. If you buy direct from me I’ll sign your copy and can write a personal dedication to the recipient if you let me know what wording you want when you order.

A New Crap Views Postcard Book – The Ideal Stocking Filler
I’ve run out of copies of the original Crap Views Postcard Book, so rather than just get it reprinted I thought I’d bring out a new one, with 20 new Crap Views of the Tor. They make fantastic stocking fillers, and at only £6.99 each why not buy a few? (Please note these are £9.99 in the shops, so you are effectively getting free postage if you buy online, which makes them an even better deal if you are buying a calendar or a book at the same time.)
*Please note that some of the same images appear in both the 2023 Calendar and the new Postcard Book. Also, the original Crap Views of the Tor Postcard Book is now out of stock.

Postage
Postage is a flat rate of £3 per parcel to the UK, no matter how many items you buy. Please order by Sunday 18th December as I post Second Class and the last recommended posting day for Christmas Is Monday 19th December. Obviously, if you want your items by Winter Solstice on Wednesday 21st December you will need to order even sooner. I do my very best to send out items on the working day after I receive the order, or the same day if I can. I will always do my best to get orders delivered to you in time, but I can’t be held responsible for delays beyond my control. Order soon to make sure your gifts arrive on time. If in doubt have them sent directly to the recipient. All my items are mailed in recyclable cardboard mailers.
Gift Wrapping
Gifts don’t get much easier than this!
For an extra £3 I will gift wrap your item in tasteful eco-friendly Oxfam gift wrap and add a handwritten label. If you wish, I can send it directly to the recipient. Just select ‘Add gift wrapping’ at the checkout.

Pre-Christmas Disclaimer!
In previous years I’ve published posts promoting a range of products from Glastonbury locals and shops for Winter Solstice. I’m really sorry to not be able to do it this year, but I’ve recently had some big upheavals and family illness and have too little time to do the necessary research and put the post together. I will do my best to promote good locally-made gift ideas on the Normal For Glastonbury Facebook Page where I can.
Enjoy this post?

Then you’ll love my books – ‘Normal For Glastonbury: Life in England’s Most Magical Town’ (the new fully illustrated edition is now available) and my ‘Crap Views of the Tor’ Postcard Book. There’s more in my Online Shop too.
My readers support this blog to keep it independent and ad-free, so I can continue to write about and photograph Glastonbury Town and its wonderful creative community.
