Description
Glastonbury Tor rises majestically from the Somerset Levels. This iconic landmark, associated with myth and legend throughout the ages, is instantly recognizable, the hill’s familiar conical shape topped by a tower that is all that remains of a 14th Century church. Captured at sunrise, blanketed in snow or with a stunning sunset backdrop, evocative and timeless images abound of this singular geographical wonder.Â
Some years ago I challenged myself to start taking photos of the Tor that would never make it onto a picture postcard, but ironically they’ve become so popular on my Normal For Glastonbury blog that I’ve turned them into this postcard book. Now you can share the fun with friends and family.Â
20 postcards, each featuring a different Crap View of Glastonbury Tor taken by Vicki Steward of Normal For Glastonbury. The postcards are glued into the book, you can individually detach them, write your own message and send them off.
Postage is a flat rate of £3 per parcel, so why not buy one for a friend too, or a copy of the Normal For Glastonbury Paperback? They make the ideal gift for anyone who loves Glastonbury.

Definitely misleading title. These are not ‘crap photos’, they are excellent shots of ancient and modern Glastonbury. I highly recommend it.

Vicki was brilliant, she seemed to drop everything and post my order straight away to get it to me in time for Xmas, even though I had left it only 2 days to go… and it managed to arrive Xmas eve!
She rang me out of courtesy to warn me that it might not make it but she was doing everything she could. I could not have asked for better service and the post cards are excellent quality. Many thanks! 🙂
