I was very sad to hear of Denise Michell’s recent passing, she was so much a part of Glastonbury for so many years, not least as Druid Mayor of Glastonbury (twice) and I will miss her enormously. I always intended to do an interview with her as she had such an amazing story.
I have taken lots of photos of Denny over the last few years, she wore such wonderful costumes for every occasion and was always larger than life. I hope you enjoy remembering her through this selection of photos and a couple of videos in which she features. I love the dancing one so much! Sorry there aren’t more words, I’m a little lost for them right now.
